INTERESTING FACT: The building was originally designed to have a steel frame supporting the SIPs roof. The architect had the confidence to specify a glulam timber frame to provide the structure. Glulam being far more environmentally friendly & aesthetically pleasing.

The materials

Foundation: Concrete raft
Walls and roof: SIPs (The Kingspan TEK Building System)
Outer walls: Cedar boarding & render.
Roof Tiles: Low profile grey slates.
